The Assiva Backup service has been in
existence now for over two years, but it was
only available to our hosting and private
contract clients in order to ensure data
redundancy. |

Now however we have decided to share
this mature service to all in order to allow
a backup of data irrespective of what data
it is (as long as its legal!) |

When we sat down to look at the service
as a stand alone package something that we
all agreed on was that we should offer it to
everyone, not just to business users. We
also decided that we should not charge
separate fees in that respect either. The
reason why? Well, simply put we could not
see how these two groups of people would
cost any more or less to cater for, so could
not see why one or other should cost more.
So it's equal backup rights for all! |

As to the company, Assiva backup service
is operated by Assiva GOS. We are privately
held (no shareholders) and operate from the
UK. Assiva GOS has been around now since
2001 in its current form, previously to that
we operated under a different name (now
sold, sorry can't say the name due to NDA)
which was started in 1997, but really came
to the forefront in 1999. So as you can see
we have been around for some time, and as a
result have quite a bit of experience in the
web based arena. |
